Psychotherapist
Hi there! My name is Novella Moffitt, and I’m a licensed therapist who values honesty, curiosity, and making therapy a safe space for all kinds of conversations- no topic is off-limits. I genuinely care about social justice, and I care just as much about helping you find ways to thrive in daily life, especially if you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit the mold.
I use a holistic and flexible approach in therapy, bringing in tools and techniques- many of which I’ve tried myself or witnessed- so I can explain how they actually feel in real life, not just in theory. I know what works for one person might not work for another, so I’ll always help you find strategies that match your real world, not just what’s written in a textbook.
Being human is complicated. We’re shaped by our biology, but also by our experiences, relationships, and the systems around us. All of those things connect to make you who you are and affect how you feel, think, and act- especially if you experience the world a little differently.
We all have a mix of strengths and struggles, and that’s normal. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s just as open-minded, curious, and compassionate as you are, I think we’ll get along well. I’ll never claim to be the expert on your life- that’s your job- but I am here to help you explore, understand, and accept all the parts of yourself, without judgment.
In therapy, I see myself as a facilitator and a guide, not someone who wants to change who you are. My goal is to support you in becoming the most authentic version of yourself, whether you’re working through trauma, navigating relationships, unmasking, dealing with stress, managing late-diagnosed ADHD or AuDHD, or anything else life throws at you. Whatever you’re facing, we’ll figure it out together, at your pace.
